As a young adult I was a registered nurse and served primarily in intensive care units. Later, I studied dentistry and worked as a dentist for almost thirty years. In my health careers, I came to know possibly several thousand people. Many shared their most treasured feelings and their deepest fears and sorrows. I am continually amazed at the resiliency of the human heart and mind.
Painting and drawing the human face and figure especially appeals to me. It is my hope that I can capture the bright light of the human soul.
